Kent Highway Services (KHS) propose to carry out surfacing works to the Ashford road. The works involve the planing of the existing surface and resurfacing of the areas of carriageway detailed below as the road surface is in poor condition, adjustment of ironwork and replacement of lining and high friction surfacing.
Ashford Road, Harrietsham – East and westbound approaches to Pelican crossing adjacent to West Street/East Street junctions.
Starting on 10th. February 2010 for 4 days (09:30 to 15:00)
The road is part of a larger County wide programme and consequently the exact start date is subject to change(s), caused by problems such as bad weather or machinery breakdown. However advanced warning signs will be erected on site giving the actual start date. |
